At 2013 PGA Merchandise Show

IRVINE, CA – JANUARY 4,
2013 – FOURTEEN GOLF, a global leader in wedge and iron design with
over 48 professional tour victories, announced today that the company
will use the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show as a platform to introduce the
longest driver FOURTEEN GOLF has ever produced – the CT-112 Driver.
According
to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “Now golfers can hit the ball
distances of a Long Drive Professional! The FOURTEEN GOLF design team
developed a revolutionary Titanium 460CC club head and combined it with
an extraordinary long shaft. Now, golfers can pound the ball without
any hesitations. This specialty driver will have long hitters eager to
join a long drive contest.”
To produce the longest
driving distances EVER, the FOURTEEN GOLF engineering team developed a
four-piece composite Titanium head. The exclusive crown has been
chemically milled to 0.5mm and is complemented with a multi-layered cup
face. This dynamic combination works in unison to bring out the best
from the 460cc traditional driver.
A new, lengthy,
proprietary graphite shaft was developed specifically to use with the
CT-112 Driver. The shaft is long but it doesn’t interfere with the
golfer’s timing as the butt portion of the shaft has been engineered
specifically to help the club head return to impact despite the
extended shaft length.
To
maximize the incredible combination of the four-piece Titanium club
head and longer shaft, the CG distance has been set to 38mm, club depth
to 37mm, and MOI to 3950 g•cm². These settings create a solid impact
with longer carry distances. Moreover, the CG height at 21mm provides
just the right amount of backspin that will ensure consistency and
accuracy. A multi-layered cup face helps the consistency and the length
of this driver. The unique face actually varies in thickness which
creates high ball speeds with a traditional solid sound at impact.
The CT-112 Driver has been designed so that the back of
the club head is slightly higher. . Even with a longer shaft length,
the CT-112 Driver allows for a smooth take back and helps produce
consistent swings.
FOURTEEN GOLF will
showcase its new 2013 equipment line including the CT-112 Driver, RM-12
Wedge, and TC-330 Irons on Wednesday, January 23rd at the PGA Show Demo
Day at the Orange County National Golf Center from 9:00am to 5:00am. To
demo FOURTEEN GOLF equipment during the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show, the
company will be exhibiting in the Equipment Testing Center at hitting
bay #41. They will be participating for the entire show from Thursday,
January 24th to Saturday, January 26th in the Orange County Convention
Center in Orlando, FL.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a
burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour
program. The company proudly announced the addition of PGA Professional
John Mallinger to the FOURTEEN GOLF Professional Staff in January of
2013. He will play both the RM-11 and RM-12 Wedges as well as wear a
FOURTEEN GOLF cap. His staff bag, head covers, umbrella and towel will
all display the FOURTEEN GOLF logo. Last year, FOURTEEN GOLF officially
signed Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a
three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers,
hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA
Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
