Looks like a new Mizuno Wedge called MP-T4!

Have not heard anything officially from Mizuno but I am sure I will see some new stuff soon!  As a Mizuno fan, I can't wait!

Why is Zach Johnson so consistent on the PGA Tour?

We all know Zach Johnson is a great golfer.



I don't think it is because he bombs the driver or comes up with an unbelievable recovery shots.
But he can win tournaments like how he did at the John Deere Classic last week.

I believe one of the reason is his putting and the putter.

He is the #1 in the putter ranking on the PGA Tour for the 2012 season.
He only needed 101 putts for the 4 rounds to clinch the trophy!

It's time for the British Open! New Callaway X Utility club?

July is the month for the 3rd major of the year!

Key to winning the British Open would be how to manage bunkers, wind and tee shot.

I have not had a chance to play a British Open course but it seems like there needs to be more shot imagination, distance and trajectory control when playing a Open course.

Looks like the players are going to face some showers during the first 2 days and will clear up towards the weekend.

I was looking at Callaway's google+ page and they have information posted regarding the X Utility iron that many players will be using to tackle the course at the British Open:

Have no information at the moment but looks like a compact iron like hybrid to play those stinger type of shots!

Congratulations Ted Potter Jr. for the amazing win!

I could not take my eyes off the tournament.

It was a wild finish.

At one moment, I thought Troy Kelly had the tournament but pressure took over.

The playoff was amazing too!  Great battle by both.

3 times on Sunday, he went dead at the flag on 18th hole.  Amazing repeatability and accuracy.

Made birdie two out of three times!  Congratulations Tod Potter Jr.!

Must have been a lot of pressure or excitement coming down the stretch.  But great performance!

I am sure Troy Kelly will continue to get better and win some tournaments!
